Job summary

A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead and mentor drivers and Team Leads. You will oversee delivery operations, ensure KPIs are met, and manage contractor relationships. Qualifications

Job Description
  • Lead, guide, and mentor Team Leads (TLs) & Drivers, including conducting Daily-Start-Work-Briefings (DSWB).
  • Work closely with franchisees and manage contractors effectively.
  • Oversee and enhance efficiency with Network, Route & Transfer Planning across trucks and vans.
  • Ensure delivery KPIs are met with timely, accurate, and cost-efficient performance.
  • Monitor driver and TL performance, ensuring compliance with traffic laws, delivery standards, and safety protocols.
  • Manage manpower planning and deployment for daily operations as well as peak/campaign periods.
  • Review and resolve escalated delivery issues or merchant complaints in coordination with Customer Service.
  • Ensure vehicle servicing schedules are adhered to, minimizing downtime.
  • Liaise with vehicle vendors on accident repairs, insurance claims, vehicle transfers, or replacements.
  • Assign and track vehicle usage, ensuring accountability and proper documentation.
  • Provide reporting and updates on operational performance, incidents, and fleet utilization to management.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Enforce Workplace Safety, Health & Security (WSHS) Policy and bizSAFE protocols across all fleet operations.
Requirements

  • Must have prior experience working with franchisees and the ability to manage contractors effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, compliance, and best practices.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing Team Leads and large driver teams.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with fleet management software/GPS tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
