Senior Fire Safety Manager

Working Days: 5 or 5.5 days | 8.00am to 5.00pm, 8.30am to 5.30pm, or 8.30am to 6.00pm

Location: Office Tanjong Pagar area | Working location: Islandwide

Salary: $4000 to $4500

Certificate: Must have Senior Fire Safety Manager Certificate; Experience: At least 2 years.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan for the premises and distribute it to the occupants.
  • Provide aid, firefighting, and evacuation in the event of fire or related emergencies.
  • Conduct daily visit checks and inspections within the premises and remove any fire hazards found.
  • Ensure that the fire safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with.
  • Conduct in‑house fire drills for the occupants at least once a month or on such occasion as may be directed by the Commissioner or SCDF.
  • Conduct at least two tabletop exercises within the premises each year, evaluate the Emergency Response Plan, record minutes of meetings, and provide feedback.
  • Train, coordinate, and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team in first aid, firefighting, and evacuation.
  • Train occupants in the premises in first aid.
  • Advise and recommend a list of firefighting equipment for the Company Emergency Response Team.
  • Supervise the premises with the Fire Command Centre during the operation in the event of fire and other emergencies.
  • Prepare and implement the Arson Prevention Plan for the premises.
  • Prepare fire safety guidebooks for the occupants.
  • Carry out fire risk assessment of the premises and recommend areas of improvement.
  • Endorse annual Fire Certificate renewal with PE Endorsement.
  • Assist and support relevant departments and perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
