RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking to hire a highly motivated, analytical, hands‑on financial analyst who will help support our Technology team from finance perspective including management reporting, monthly follow up on cost and KPI, involved in business case preparation and calculation with Technology.
Further the financial analyst will be involved in business case analysis for new projects, coordination with internal & external stakeholders on audit & compliance matters and some adhoc finance assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor R&D cost, align with R&D control processes and ensure compliance with corporate R&D policies, keeping the management informed about the major events, indicating the deviations from the budget/forecast and the eventual corrective actions.
- Support respective R&D HODs in the improvement of financial performance.
- Performance Management: Prepare and analyse monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the R&D team. Suggestion of improvement measures in case of deviations between Target and Actual, and unfavourable trend.
- Monitor and analyses R&D financial indicators and prepare the financial reports and advise management on financial matters.
- Project Analysis: Monitor, analyse and report project cost in timely manner. Coordinate between supporting functions and project owners for overseas projects.
- Assist in Business case calculation (cost‑benefit calculation) and make recommendation for minimising the risk in strategic and capital allocation decisions for technology projects.
- Maintain and update compliance documentation and reports for both management and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to track and address compliance risks.
Additional Responsibilities
- Operate as an individual contributor, demonstrating initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
- Closely work with Technology Function.
- Interact with Internal & External stakeholders to facilitate Internal Audit and Organization Compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5‑8 year experience in Corporate Finance role.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving skills.
- High level of integrity, ethical standards, and attention to detail.
- Experience in SAP (S4 Hana) preferred.
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet and numeracy skills combined with an inquiring & analytical mind.
- Strong command of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
