Senior Finance Manager – Non-Profit Sector
Are you a seasoned finance leader who thrives on making an impact? We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence, compliance, and sustainability within a mission-driven organisation.

As a senior finance professional, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring financial transparency, integrity, and accountability. This role blends technical expertise with strategic influence, supporting both operational needs and long-term organisational goals.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Reporting – Lead month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely, accurate reporting aligned with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Oversee proper accounting for grants, donations, and fund utilisation.
- Controls & Compliance – Establish and strengthen financial policies, processes, and internal controls. Be the main liaison for internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvements in systems and workflows.
- Grant & Funds Oversight – Manage financial aspects of government funding and grants, including claims, budgets, and reporting. Build trusted relationships with funding agencies to ensure compliance and timely submissions.
- Governance Support – Coordinate statutory filings, maintain records of board and committee meetings, and ensure adherence to governance and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Partnership – Work closely with senior leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- People Management – Providing guidance to a team of finance executives in reporting and responsible for their personal development
Qualifications
- What We’re Looking For –
- Degree in Accounting/Finance; professional certification (CPA, ACA, or equivalent) highly preferred.
- > 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and controllership, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in Singapore FRS, fund accounting, and grant reporting.
- Proven leadership in developing and mentoring finance teams and experience in systems enhancement would be essential
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- High integrity, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
