Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Finance Manager in Singapore to oversee accounting functions for Group entities and manage fund accounting records. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Asset Management, strong knowledge in regulatory reporting, and the ability to manage multiple accounts independently. This is a strategic role requiring engagement with statutory audits and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

Job description
Senior Finance Manager (MAS 630, Regulatory Reporting, Hands On)

Oversee the end-to-end accounting functions for Group entities and various Fund Accounts.

Maintain and manage fund accounting records, including bookkeeping, AUM tracking, client lists, and supporting fund operations.

Act as the primary contact for statutory audits across Office and Fund Management entities; liaise with auditors, support year-end audit activities, and address audit queries from both external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Review financial reports prepared by external accountants to ensure accuracy and compliance with local accounting standards.

Monitor and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts, manage foreign currency exposure, and provide updates to the Director.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of GST returns, as well as compliance with corporate tax, withholding tax, FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory reporting requirements.

Perform reconciliation and resolve financial discrepancies through thorough analysis and information gathering.

Support the Compliance Officer in preparing and submitting required reports to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA/ACCA is an advantage.
  • With 5 – 7 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in Asset Management.
  • Ability to independently manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities.
  • Strong knowledge in treasury bonds, dividend processing, trust, and fund accounting.
  • Experience in MAS reporting, GST, corporate tax, and other regulatory filings.
  • Familiarity with Singapore financial regulations, including FATCA, CRS, and 13U reporting.
