To head the Group finance department with responsibilities in the full spectrum of Group finance and corporate activities, including consolidation, financial and management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, cashflow management, treasury, taxation and corporate secretarial matters.
To support the senior management in board discussions, ensure compliance with SGX regulations and support any strategic expansion plans and financial due diligence.
For experienced candidates, there is potential consideration for the position of Financial Controller, depending on the individual’s experience, leadership capabilities, and exposure to group-level reporting and governance in a listed environment.
SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Group’s day‑to‑day accounting and finance activities
- Oversee and review timely and accurate group consolidation
- Preparation of the half‑yearly interim report for SGX announcement purposes
- Review and analyse the Group’s financials and its subsidiaries
- Overseeing treasury, taxation and corporate secretarial functions
- Managing external audit and banking relationships
- Preparation of year‑end annual report and the sustainability report
- Preparation of Board and Board Committees papers
- Preparation of SGX announcements, shareholders’ circular, and coordination of AGM/EGM
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of Group Accounting policies and monitor compliance within the Group
- Review, propose revisions and ensure adherence to the Group’s Financial Policy and practices
- Overseeing annual budgetary and business planning exercises
- Provide financial leadership across the business to meet business plan targets
- Identifying areas to improve business efficiencies and reduce costs
- Provide business analysis and decision‑making support, including financial analyses and modelling of "what if" scenarios
- Lead or support local and corporate projects
- Team management, including mentoring and staff development
- Keeping abreast with the latest updated accounting standards and leading in making any accounting changes necessary to comply with the new/revised accounting standards
- Handle any other ad hoc duties as directed by management
Requirements
- At least 7 years of accounting & statutory reporting experience, and is familiar with SGX listing rules and corporate governance compliance
- A recognised degree in Finance or Accountancy/ ACCA with excellent knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation matters
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to make judgments/recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive work attitude
- Prior audit / listed company experience would be an advantage
