We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency across Start2’s Asia entities. This role focuses on group consolidation, management reporting, budgeting, and compliance for the region, while supporting the CEO and Regional Directors with insights to guide business decisions.

It is ideal for a finance professional experienced in multi-entity operations who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and enjoys both hands-on execution and continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
  • Manage accounting operations, monthly closings, and consolidation across currently 5 Asian countries with a likely expansion to cover the UAE in 2026.
  • Prepare timely, accurate management reports and analyses (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Standardize and streamline reporting packs, KPIs, and dashboards in line with Group requirements.
Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure statutory, tax, and audit compliance across all entities.
  • Coordinate with external accountants and auditors for statutory filings and reviews.
  • Support internal audit and compliance initiatives to strengthen financial discipline.
  • Monitor adherence to intercompany policies, transfer pricing, and internal controls.
    Business Partnering
    • Provide data-driven financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and cost efficiency.
    • Partner with project and operations leads to monitor project profitability, pricing, and cost recovery.
    • Support decision-making with scenario analyses, ROI tracking, and financial modelling.
    Process Improvement & Systems
    • Identify and implement process improvements in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Support the rollout of group-level financial tools and automation initiatives.
    • Promote data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across regional finance teams.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA / CA / ACCA preferred.
    • 8–12 years of experience in finance operations, ideally in fast-scaling start-up or large SME.
    • Proven hands‑on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation across multi‑entity, multi‑currency operations.
    • Strong understanding of Singapore accounting standards, corporate tax, and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency in Excel and modern finance systems; experience with Xero a plus.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and geographies.
    • Background in consulting, service delivery, or project‑based businesses.
    • Exposure to cross‑border operations and regional finance management.
    • Experience in business partnering or financial planning roles supporting strategic growth.
