Job summary

Responsibilities
- Oversee the Group’s day‑to‑day accounting and finance activities
- Oversee and review timely and accurate group consolidation
- Preparation of the half‑yearly interim report for SGX announcement purposes
- Review and analyse the Group’s financials and its subsidiaries
- Oversee treasury, taxation and corporate secretarial functions
- Managing external audit and banking relationships
- Preparation of the year‑end annual report and the sustainability report
- Preparation of Board and Board Committees papers
- Preparation of SGX announcements, shareholders’ circular, and coordination of AGM/EGM
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of Group Accounting policies and monitor compliance within the Group
- Review, propose revisions and ensure adherence to the Group’s Financial Policy and practices
- Oversee annual budgetary and business planning exercises
- Provide financial leadership across the business to meet business plan targets
- Identify areas to improve business efficiencies and reduce costs
- Provide business analysis and decision‑making support, including financial analyses and modelling of "what if" scenarios
- Lead or support local and corporate projects
- Team management, including mentoring and staff development
- Keep abreast with the latest updated accounting standards and lead in making any accounting changes necessary to comply with the new/revised accounting standards
- Handle any other ad hoc duties as directed by management
Requirements
- At least 7 years of accounting & statutory reporting experience, familiar with SGX listing rules and corporate governance compliance
- A recognised degree in Finance or Accountancy/ACCA with excellent knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation matters
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to make judgments/recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive work attitude
- Prior audit / listed company experience would be an advantage
