Job Summary

The Senior Finance Manager will oversee all financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance functions for the organisation and its group of entities. This role involves managing financial reporting processes, ensuring robust financial control, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial reporting duties including bookkeeping, budget, generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports for review
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, required audit filings, tax filings, business activity reports for management and external stakeholders
  • Monitor company's cash flow and cash position
  • Analyse and appraise the financial performance and position of the group of entities
  • Accounts payable, invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Responsible for full sets of accounts, reporting, tax computation and compliance
  • Preparation, oversight and quality control of management accounts
  • Ensuring an environment of strong financial control
  • Liaison with external advisors, particularly auditor, tax, legal and corporate secretary
  • Assist in internal & external audit. Respond to internal and external auditors on audit data, variances and audit findings. Resolve issues and deficiencies arising from audit findings
  • Support Finance Director in evaluating the effectiveness of the organisation's financial system and determine any areas of improvement
  • Support implementation of ERP system and automation initiatives to achieve efficiency
  • Manage, engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders professionally
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner that reflects the core values of the company
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years of relevant experience, including experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and audit coordination.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax compliance, and accounting standards.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and financial software; experience with system implementation will be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
