Job summary

A logistics company based in Singapore is seeking a professional to manage Accounts Receivables (AR) and oversee day-to-day operations. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in AR, with a strong ability to lead teams and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Candidates residing in the East are preferred. This position offers an opportunity to enhance financial reporting processes and work closely with auditors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Receivables (AR) & Management Information System (MIS).
  • Oversee day-to-day operations related to AR and MIS.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of AR accounts with teams.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates of receipts into system.

Skills

Meticulous and handles transactional level work
Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Working knowledge of CargoWise
Good interpersonal skills

Education

Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Banking, Business or other quantitative fields

Job description
Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Responsible for managing Accounts Receivables (AR) & Management Information System (MIS).

2. Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations related to Accounts Receivable and MIS.

3. Conduct a monthly review of AR accounts with other teams.

4. Ensure accurate and timely updates of receipts into system for OPs to review AR outstanding.

5. Liaise with customer and bank where necessary.

6. Identify improvement in work processes to keep up with changing business needs.

7. Responsible for Monthly/Year-end financial closing reporting and ensure all reporting/schedules are accurately and promptly prepared.

Additional Task:

1 Liaise with internal/ external Auditors for audit queries.

2. Ensure Standard Operating procedures and Knowledge Articles are up to date and properly documented.

3. Any other task as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Qualification & Work Experience
  • Possess Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Banking, Businessor other quantitative fileds, and at least 3 years work experience in AR
  • Demonstrated ability to leads team.
Technical Skills
  • Meticulous and handles transactional level work.
  • Driven and positive attitude on learning.
  • Must be proficient in MS office suite specifically Excel (VBA, macros), PowerPoint and Word.
  • Working knowledge of CargoWise would be highly advantageous.
