Job description
Key Responsibilities areas :
  • In this role, you will support the Society’s financial operations by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls across all finance-related processes.

  • Your responsibilities will include managing petty cash reviews and postings, overseeing receipt processing across various fundraising and payment platforms, and preparing and reconciling donation transactions and financial support disbursements.

  • You will play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly closing activities, including the preparation of accruals, prepayment schedules, and other necessary adjustments.

  • In addition, you will assist in audit preparation by compiling supporting documents, preparing audit schedules, and maintaining proper audit trails for all payment and donation-related records.

  • Beyond core finance duties, you will provide administrative and HR-related support such as coordinating staff events, assisting with office operations, and carrying out ad-hoc tasks when required.

  • The ideal candidate is meticulous, organised, and committed to upholding high standards of financial governance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

  • At least 1–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance (preferably in non-profit or SME sectors).

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software like Business Central would be preferred.

  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
