A leading provider of cooling solutions in Singapore is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to oversee day-to-day finance operations. The ideal candidate will manage full sets of accounts and ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards. Candidates should possess a diploma in Accounting or Finance and have a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in QuickBooks.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience managing full set of accounts.
  • Proven experience supervising accounting staff.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and tax laws.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full sets of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.
  • Supervise and support the Account Executives in daily accounting activities.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Review quarterly GST for submission.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Review internal controls, policies, and procedures for improvements.
  • Support the implementation of QuickBooks and system enhancements.

Our Client is a leading provider of cooling solutions in Southeast Asia. They are seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive individual. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations
  • Supervise and support the Account Executives in daily accounting activities
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Review quarterly GST for submission.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, external tax agent and review tax computation.
  • Liaise with corporate secretary to ensure compliance.
  • Review internal controls, policies and procedures, and recommend process improvements.
  • Support the implementation of QuickBooks and other system enhancements.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing full set of accounts (preferably in an equipment installation, or project-based environment)
  • Proven experience supervising accounting staff.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards (SFRS) and tax laws (GST, corporate income tax).
  • Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Location: East.

Working Hours: 5 days work week.
