Job summary

Publicis Groupe is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The role involves media finance activities including onboarding suppliers/clients, billing, month-end closings, and revenue recognition.

You will liaise with cross-functional teams, handle WIP reconciliations, and support audits. A Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent is required, with training provided for media-specific

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent; professional certification preferred.
• Hands-on accounting or AR/billing operations experience in media is advantageous but training provided.
• Strong numerical ability and intermediate Excel proficiency (PivotTable, VLOOKUP).
• Analytical, meticulous, and fast learner with a proactive attitude.
• Good team player with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• On-boarding of new suppliers and clients.
• Jobs monitoring, analysis and closing.
• Month-end closing process.
• Issue/billing instructions to shared service team and ensure 100% billing completion before the following month end.
• Revenue recognition and reconciliation of WIP; review postings in ERP system for completeness and accuracy.
• Respond to client billing queries and resolve issues in supplier invoices in coordination with Media/Operations.
• Collaborate with teams on issue resolutions; participate in regular WIP stakeholder meetings.
• Accounts payable responsibilities and related tasks.
• Provide support for audit activities.

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Finance Executive to support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Executive, you will support in media finance operations, including but not limited to:

• On-boarding of new suppliers and clients


• Jobs monitoring, analysis and closing


• Month-end closing process


• Issue/check billing instructions to shared service team and ensure 100% billing completion before end of following month of activity


• Revenue recognition and reconciliation of WIP account. Review completeness and accuracy once posted in ERP System


• Resolve/respond to client billing queries


• Resolve issues in supplier invoices in co-ordination with Media/Operations team


• Work closely with respective teams on issue resolutions


• Regular WIP meeting with Stakeholders


• Accounts Payable responsibilities


• Provide support for audit

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience with at least a Diploma in Finance/Accounting or qualified professional certification


• Prior hands-on experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivables/Billing operations for media industry an advantage, but not mandatory as training would be provided


• Strong in numbers and intermediate in Microsoft Excel (such as pivot table and v-lookup)


• Analytical, meticulous with a positive attitude to learn fast and work hard


• Good team player and able to work with minimal supervision
