Job summary

BHP Group seeks a Lead Finance Domain Architect to shape and deliver the technology strategy for Finance functions globally. You will govern design and implementation of SAP-based solutions, bridging business needs with IT capabilities and external vendors.

This senior role drives innovation, security, and alignment with enterprise standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, set roadmaps, and oversee Cloud, data analytics, and AI-enabled finance initiatives, partnering with Finance, GBS,

Qualifications

Extensive experience delivering and governing enterprise-scale SAP solutions across Finance domains.
Proven SAP Finance background with enterprise architecture and technology strategy leadership.
Strong ability to define and govern architecture principles, governance frameworks, and target-state roadmaps.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, finance processes, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a 5-year technology roadmap for Finance and GBS R2A.
Collaborate with business leaders to translate finance processes into architecture decisions.
Lead evaluation/selection of platforms and technologies for Finance/GBS functions.
Define and enforce architecture principles, standards and governance.
Provide end-to-end architecture oversight for Finance projects, ensuring scalability and security.
Drive adoption of cloud, automation, and data analytics to optimize processes.
Mentor engineers and stakeholders to align efforts with strategic goals.
Present roadmaps and architecture designs to senior executives.
