Overview

We are partnering with a global biotechnology company committed to advancing patient care through innovative therapies. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team. This role is crucial in providing financial leadership, shaping strategic decisions, and ensuring the alignment of financial objectives with business goals, all within a high-impact and innovative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide financial leadership and support to the management team, aiding in strategic planning, resource allocation, and portfolio management.
  • Develop and oversee financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and local management reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with group standards.
  • Lead the preparation of market budgets and Long-Range Plans, ensuring adherence to reporting requirements.
  • Ensure the accurate integration of forecast and actual data into financial reporting systems and management reports, maintaining alignment with reporting standards.
  • Deliver valuable financial and commercial insights to drive business growth, including detailed analysis of profit and loss statements, key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to planning and reporting processes to boost efficiency.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports, analyses, and presentations for the management team.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a recognized institution
  • Over 10 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a business partnering role within commercial organizations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
  • Proven track record in managing financial operations, budgeting, and financial controls
  • Results-driven with demonstrated experience as a trusted business partner to senior management
  • Good stakeholder management in a matrix organization
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skill
