Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking an Accounting Officer to manage full accounting responsibilities including payroll preparation, financial reporting, and tax submissions. Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Experience managing payroll and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills for preparing and analyzing financial reports.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a full spectrum of Accounts and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly Payroll and related documents.
  • Provide admin support, procurement, and office maintenance.
  • Assist in timely and accurate financial closing.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting journals and reports.
  • Analyze and communicate Project Costing and variances.
  • Prepare and submit GST and Corporate Tax Returns.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, and governmental departments.
  • Resolve accounting and taxation issues.
  • Provide management reports on various aspects.
  • Assist in procedure development for workflow enhancement.
  • Process vendor invoices and staff claims.
  • Manage timely payment processes.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
