Job summary

Dyson Institute in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Analyst to perform static, dynamic, structural and thermal analyses. You will partner with design engineers to drive decisions via credible simulations and ensure smooth handovers from UK to SEA.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor in mechanical engineering or related field with around 5 years of product analysis experience, and is proficient in ANSYS, Moldflow, Abaqus, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 5 years of mechanical product analysis experience.
• Proficient in CAD/CAE tools (ANSYS, Moldflow, Abaqus).
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and FEA automation welcomed.
• Experience with measurement hardware (e.g., strain gauges) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform static, dynamic, structural and thermal-mechanical analysis.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to set simulation targets and drive design decisions.
• Handover projects with deliverables from UK to SEA and communicate with stakeholders.
• Identify risks, plan tasks, and promote best practices in simulation and data analytics.
