Overview

Job description

The Senior Operations Manager is a key leadership role in a growing local company with plans for expansion. This role is responsible for overseeing operations across the organisation and driving system-level improvements and digital integration across teams to strengthen operational excellence, enhance employee engagement, and deliver best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

(A) DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR:

(i) Company-Wide Operational Leadership

  • Provide Company-wide operational leadership across Boutiques, Events, Fulfilment Logistics, Facilities Management and other operational areas to achieve operational excellence
  • Lead in manpower planning; internal process (Standard Operating Procedures) documentation, adherence & improvements; budget planning & usage; and team performance
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence built on quality, care and trust
  • Track Key Performance Indicators, report insights, and recommend improvements to Senior Management

(ii) System-level Continuous Improvements

  • Identify gaps and opportunities for system-level improvement, such as in manpower management, process improvement, cost efficiency, team productivity, technology adoption, scalable solutions, future-readiness
  • Develop and implement system-level improvements
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver improvements (e.g. with Marketing, Finance, Human Resource)

(iii) Digital Transformation & Systems Integration

  • Identify and implement IT solutions – both traditional (e.g. POS) and emerging (e.g. Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics) – to enhance operational efficiency
  • Identify and implement IT solutions to integrate existing IT solutions or manual workflows to supercharge operational efficiency
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver improvements

(B) OVERALL RESPONSIBLE FOR

(i) Boutique & Event Operations

  • Overall responsible – assisted by Manager (Boutiques & Events) – for all Boutique and Event operations in Front-of-House and Back-of-House, including smooth daily operations, adherence to SOP and achieving of KPI

(ii) Fulfilment Logistics & Facilities Management Operations

  • Overall responsible – assisted by Manager (Fulfilment Logistics & Facilities Management) – for all operations in Fulfilment Logistics and Facilities Management, including smooth daily operations, adherence to SOP and achieving of KPI

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as F&B Operations Manager (overseeing 5 or more outlets), preferably in Quick Service Restaurant category
  • Degree or Diploma
  • Proven experience in implementing and integrating IT systems to enhance operational efficiency
  • Strong administrative, communications and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workplace
  • Willing to work a typical 5-day work week, with flexibility to be in touch with ground operations on weekends and Public Holidays (if needed)

Reporting Lines

  • Reports to Senior Management
  • Direct Reports are managers of key functions and an HR Admin Exec within the Operations Department
