Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Workplace Safety and Health Officer. The role involves analyzing EHS performance, coordinating EHS initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Candidates must be a registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer and an Environmental Control Officer with at least 3 years of experience in Singapore. Qualifications

  • Must be registered environmental control officer with National Environment Agency.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as WSHO in Singapore.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Analyse data on Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) performance, processes and practices.
  • Drive, coordinate and implement day-to-day EHS initiatives
  • Maintain and improve EHS standards and practices at the workplace
  • Prepare EHS reports on regular basis.
  • Promote EHS activities and conduct regular training to stakeholders
  • Conduct EHS audit and where required, undertake incident investigations.
  • Ensure operations compliance with EHS legislations and requirements
  • Maintain EHS Management System documentation.
  • Perform statutory roles of Registered WSH Officer
Requirements
  • Must be a Workplace Safety & Health Officer registered with Ministry Of Manpower (Singapore).
  • Must be registered environmental control officer with National Environment Agency
  • Possessed work experiences in Land Transport Authority's projects.
  • Experience and good knowledge of Environment, Workplace Safety & Health Management Systems such as ISO14001 and ISO45001 including and BizSAFE Certification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as WSHO in Singapore.
  • Able to perform night works and occasional works on public holidays.
  • Team player and have the ambition to excel in EHS discipline.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Possesses initiatives and creativity to drive process improvements.
