What you'll be doing
  • Build, expand, and maintain a network of volunteers to support community health promotion initiatives
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteers, ensuring they are effectively deployed to suitable activities aligned with programme objectives
  • Develop, deliver, and update training materials to equip volunteers with the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Plan, design, and implement new volunteer-led activities that promote health awareness and wellbeing in the community
  • Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to maximise volunteer engagement and programme reach
  • Monitor volunteer participation, gather feedback, and continuously improve programme effectiveness
  • Support reporting and documentation of volunteer activities, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and guidelines
  • Foster a positive volunteer culture by recognising contributions, motivating engagement, and providing ongoing guidance and mentorship
What we're looking for
  • Degree in Healthcare/ Public Health/ Social Work or related studies
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in volunteer management/ community engagement/ programme coordination, preferably within healthcare or public health initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to engage and motivate volunteers
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programmes or materials
  • Ability to design and implement creative initiatives that address community health needs
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and experience working with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to monitor and enhance programme outcomes
