Job summary

A leading clinical research organization in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive for Procurement. The successful candidate will manage the complete sourcing process, support purchasing activities in SAP, and ensure timely delivery of supplies while maintaining compliance with GMP standards. Candidates should hold a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field and possess strong teamwork and multi-tasking abilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and a positive work attitude.
  • Ability to manage procurement policies and processes.
  • Experience in handling Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the end-to-end sourcing process including managing quotations and liaising with vendors.
  • Support purchasing activities through SAP and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier performance and assist with audit reviews.

ACTRIS

The Advanced Cell Therapy and Research Institute, Singapore (ACTRIS) was established to meet the increasing clinical demand of using cellular therapeutics to treat various life‑threatening diseases. ACTRIS’ vision is to be the national and regional Centre of Excellence for discovery, process development and manufacturing of cellular‑based therapeutics across the broad spectrum of immunotherapy and regenerative medicine, encompassing both investigational and approval products for the local market. We also provide value‑added services such as workforce training, regulatory facilitation and ancillary material standardization, pertaining to delivery of cellular therapy to patients.

What you will be working on
  • Facilitate the end‑to‑end sourcing process, which include managing the quotations, tenders, request for proposals, publishing the purchasing documentations via the online procurement portal, and liaising with vendors and end‑users on the procurement initiatives.
  • Support direct and indirect purchasing activities including raising purchase requisition in SAP and facilitating the evaluation committee meeting.
  • Coordinate with the supplier on the continuous and on time delivery of the supplies and manage the rescheduling with the supplier.
  • Guide and provide advice to end‑users on procurement policies, processes, and systems.
  • Maintain contract listing and provide support in contract matters.
  • Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and manage the timely closure of the purchasing service agreement.
  • Manage supplier performance and assist in generating management and spend analysis reports.
  • Provide support in both internal and external audit reviews.
  • Support material & supplier qualification process and ensure purchasing management follows the SOP/GMP guideline.
  • To support GMP documentation requirements – CAPAs, deviations, change controls, SCAR etc.
  • Liaise with various departments on the resolution of the purchasing issues.
  • Any other job as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in supply chain, business, or relevant field.
  • Good team player with positive work attitude.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work independently.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Good to have relevant working experience in managing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facilities.
  • Good Proficiency on Microsoft EXCEL, WORDS and VISIO.
