Overview
The Partnership & Business Development Executive/ Senior Manager, reporting directly to the Partnership Head will drive commercial growth by developing high-value sponsorships and premium hospitality partnerships within the precinct and events portfolio. This role will focus on selling naming rights, brand activations, corporate hospitality (VIP suites, boxes, lounges), and integrated partnership solutions. The individual will build a strong client pipeline, negotiate commercial deals, and ensure exceptional delivery of partner rights, strengthening the precinct’s position as a premier destination for sports, entertainment, and corporate experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Hospitality & Premium Sales
- Sell premium hospitality packages including corporate suites, executive boxes, club lounges, and matchday/ event VIP experiences.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for premium hospitality products (VIP suites, corporate boxes, etc...) to attract corporate buyers.
- Build mid/senior-level client and agency relationships to position the stadium as a premier partnership platform.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key hospitality clients to maximize renewals and upselling.
- Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new sponsorship and hospitality sales opportunities across key categories (e.g. financial services, tech, lifestyle, travel, etc...).
- Drive revenue growth through both B2B direct sales and agency channels.
- Oversee client servicing to ensure premium guest experiences and retention.
- Lead contract negotiations to deliver mutually beneficial agreements.
Sponsorship Sales & Development
- Proactively identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities including naming rights, category exclusivities, event sponsorships, digital assets, and on-site activations.
- Develop creative, tailored sponsorship proposals aligned with client objectives and venue assets, aligned with partner objectives and the organization’s assets.
- Lead end-to-end deal negotiation, to deliver mutually beneficial agreements thus ensuring long-term commercial value.
Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, corporate clients, and hospitality buyers.
- Work cross-functionally with partnership engagement, marketing, operations, and events teams to activate and fulfil partner entitlements.
- Monitor partnership performance and provide insights to ensure partner satisfaction and retention.
Commercial Strategy & Reporting
- Support the partnership team in shaping overall revenue strategy for the precinct.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and innovative sponsorship concepts.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for management.
- Contribute to the overall commercial strategy and revenue growth targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related discipline.
- 8–10+ years’ experience in sponsorship, partnerships, or hospitality.
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing high-value deals.
- Established corporate and agency network.
- Strategic thinker with ability to balance sales execution and long-term vision.
- Highly commercial mindset with strong sales drive.
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
- Creative thinker. Able to develop unique, value-driven partnership concepts.
- Strong presentation, pitching, and communication skills.
- Strived in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Understanding and interest for sports, live entertainment, and premium guest experiences preferred.
