A charitable organization in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR professional to support the development and implementation of HR policies. The role involves leading recruitment processes and driving employee engagement initiatives. Candidates should possess at least 5 years of relevant HR experience, a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, and strong knowledge of Singaporean HR practices.
Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and frameworks in line with MOM guidelines and best practices.
Partner with the Senior Manager, CEO, and HR Committee to review, update, and communicate HR policies and staff handbook.
Conduct periodic reviews of compensation and benefits to ensure market competitiveness within the charity/non-profit sector.
Work with external HR consultants for regular updates on remuneration structures, benefits, and HR policies.
Provide advice to management and the HR Committee on compensation-related and strategic HR matters.
Contribute to workforce planning and talent management strategies to support the organisation’s long-term goals.
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes: drafting job descriptions, posting ads, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
Build partnerships with recruitment agencies, institutions, and volunteer networks to attract talent aligned with FFTH’s mission.
Drive employee engagement initiatives to build morale, collaboration, and alignment with FFTH’s values.
Identify training needs and coordinate staff learning & development programmes.
Organise HR-related staff events, workshops, and welfare activities.
Administer the performance appraisal process and provide support to managers in setting KPIs, feedback, and evaluation.
Ensure performance management processes are fair, transparent, and aligned to organisational goals.
Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, CPF, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate HR records and reports for submission to management and regulators.
Support HR-related matters for audits, governance, and compliance reviews.
Serve as first point of contact for staff on HR-related matters.
Ensure timely handling of HR administration including contracts, confirmation, renewals, and exits.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant HR experience, with strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and HR practices.
Prior experience in the non-profit, social service, or SME sector will be an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic and operational HR responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with staff at all levels and senior stakeholders.
