Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Finance, your responsibilities include:

  1. Oversee the Accounts Payable and Staff Claims (Non-HR) functions in IPOS. This would include partnering and providing financial advice to departments with an end-to-end view of finance processes.
  2. Ensure timely payments to vendors and resolve long outstanding payments.
  3. Review staff claims to ensure compliance with IPOS’s policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  5. Support grant administration by monitoring the grant budget utilization and collating returns for reporting to grant owners.
  6. Drive process improvements through data analytics and automation.
  7. Review and update finance policies in line with standards and regulations.
  8. Prepare reports and statistics for management, government agencies etc.
  9. Lead and execute accounting related system enhancements and projects.
  10. Work with internal and external auditors and support the audits.
  11. Perform ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.
