Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification, preferably with a professional insurance qualification e.g. ACII.
• Minimum Certificate in General Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with company guidelines.
• Train all relevant staff and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulatory provisions.
• Undertake credit control ensuring adherence to debtor days.
• Provide a technical reference point for queries.
• Carry out quality assurance checks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with company guidelines
• Train all relevant staff and business partners
• Ensure compliance with all laws, regulatory provisions and Group policies as are relevant to the role
• Undertake credit control ensuring the standard for debtor days are strictly adhered to
• Provide a technical reference point for queries
• Carry out quality assurance checks and assist in training of less experienced staffUndertake any other duties as may be assigned
