About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and creative communications professional who can craft compelling stories and impactful visuals across digital and traditional platforms.

As part of the Corporate Affairs team, you will strengthen the organisation’s brand, reputation, and stakeholder engagement through storytelling, media relations, and digital marketing. You will support the planning and execution of key communications initiatives spanning annual reports, newsletters, media features, digital campaigns and corporate events, ensuring every narrative and visual reflects the organisation’s mission and values.

This role requires editorial excellence, digital fluency and strong creative judgment, with the ability to translate ideas into clear, engaging, and visually aligned communications.

Responsibilities

Branding & Integrated Communications

  • Support brand-building initiatives that enhance visibility and stakeholder confidence.

  • Maintain consistent messaging and tone across digital, print and experiential platforms.

  • Develop creative assets including marketing collaterals, campaign visuals and multimedia content.

  • Work closely with vendors and creative partners to ensure quality, timeliness, and brand alignment.

Editorial & Publications

  • Contribute to the development of annual reports, newsletters and stakeholder materials.

  • Write and edit stories that showcase organisational milestones and impact.

  • Ensure editorial accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the organisation’s voice.

Public Relations & Media

  • Draft press releases, statements, and media advisories for key initiatives and events.

  • Coordinate interviews, press coverage, and publicity opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets and partners.

  • Monitor and report on media trends, coverage and sentiment.

Digital & Social Media

  • Create and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.

  • Oversee YouTube content planning, uploads, and analytics to grow engagement.

  • Apply digital marketing strategies including SEO, SEM and analytics to optimise performance.

  • Track and evaluate digital metrics using Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio and Google Analytics.

Events & Campaigns

  • Support communications planning and creative development for campaigns, outreach and fundraising events.

  • Develop key messages and visuals to drive engagement and participation.

  • Capture and repurpose event content for publicity and storytelling.

Internal & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams including Operations, Fundraising and Volunteer Programme to identify stories and initiatives that demonstrate impact.

  • Provide editorial and creative support for internal campaigns, presentations and leadership messaging.

  • Promote collaboration and content sharing across departments to ensure alignment and consistency.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • Relevant experience or professional certifications may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in corporate or strategic communications, preferably within healthcare, social service or non-profit sectors.

  • Candidates from other industries with strong communications or marketing experience are also encouraged to apply.

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate publications, stakeholder communications, and digital campaigns.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas into accessible content.

  • Proficient in creative and digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, and Google Analytics.

  • Knowledge of media relations, SEO, and digital content optimisation.

  • Skilled in photography and videography, with a good sense of visual composition.

  • Strong project management, stakeholder, and vendor coordination abilities.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and detail oriented, with the ability to balance strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.
