Job Summary

Are you passionate about enhancing patient care and safety in a healthcare setting? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager to join our Office of Patient Safety & Quality (OPSQ).

Responsibilities
  • Report to the Senior/Manager and assist in planning and implementing strategic initiatives to improve clinical governance and quality, patient care and safety for the hospital by supporting OPSQ teams.
  • Foster a culture of clinical quality and safety through communication, education and training activities.
  • Manage the Incident Reporting System, ensuring thorough follow-up on incidents, investigations and corrective actions by relevant parties.
  • Support the Senior/Manager, OPSQ in reporting data for scorecards, collaborating with clinical services to track clinical performance indicators.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) activities to improve departmental processes and elevate overall quality of care.
  • Assist in implementing the MOH National Standards of Healthcare (NSHC) and the Public Hospital Scorecard.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Science, Biological Science, Applied Science, or any other healthcare-related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates may apply.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement, process enhancement, data analytics, clinical audits, or patient safety is an advantage.
  • Good writing abilities, meticulous, and strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and oversee junior clerical staff.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SPSS or SAS is an advantage.
