A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Senior Executive to provide administrative support to the Division Patient Safety and Quality Committee. The role involves liaising with stakeholders, ensuring clinical policy alignment, and overseeing follow-ups on safety initiatives. Candidates should have a degree and at least 2 years of healthcare experience, complemented by strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
The Senior Executive reports to the Division Patient Safety Officer (PSO) and the Division Admin lead, offering administrative assistance to the Division Patient Safety and Quality Committee. He/she plays a key supporting role to assist the Division PSO in coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure prompt follow up and effective implementation of all risk, quality and patient safety related matters that are driven under the ambit of the Division Patient Safety and Quality Committee.
Point of contact between the Division Patient Safety and Quality Committee and Office of Patient Safety and Quality (OPSQ) Medical Board
Engaging Patient Safety Officers (PSO) and Head of Department (HOD) to gather insights and improve underperforming indicators. To escalate incidents of significant clinical indicator with major downward trends to the Division Chair
Ensuring department clinical policies are aligned with the hospital level clinical policies
Ensuring process of protocols and practice policies are effectively communicated and disseminated within department
Working with department secretariats for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) assigned by the Division PSQ Committee and present recommendation to the Committee before submission to Ministry of Health through SGH Office of Patient Safety and Quality (OPSQ) Medical Board
Overseeing implementation of recommendations discussed at Committee meeting including monitoring of progress and closure of follow up.
Collaborate with other departments to co-develop training materials relevant to patient safety, conduct safe space and other patient safety engagement initiatives at division level.
Liaison between different departments and the Division in preparation of various matters such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) assessment and review. Analyse data on clinical systems to identify clinical practice with high probability of risk occurrence in the department and division.
Provide secretariat support and maintaining of appointment for members of Committee.
Participate in Patient Safety Council meeting and support division in driving agenda for the Division Patient Safety and Quality Committee meeting
The incumbent will be provided training and upskilling in use of relevant tools for patient safety, quality and risk management
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Degree holder with at least 2 years healthcare experience will be an advantage
Strong interpersonal, analytical, planning and organizational skills
Strong stakeholder management
