Job Purpose: Responsible to assist Reporting Officer & Head, CPD in facilitating the hospital’s upcoming redevelopment and other strategic planning activities as required.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

  1. Support Reporting Officer & HOD to manage all aspects of the redevelopment including and not limited to strategic planning, knowledge management, user engagement, project management, budget monitoring, status reporting and meeting secretariat.
  2. Work on long-term infrastructure planning for the hospital’s impending redevelopment, including coordination with NUH clinical services planning, in consideration with NUHS cluster-level and national priorities and focus areas.
  3. Work with various internal and external stakeholders for managing internal requests, as well as work with external parties such as the NUHS cluster-level, MOH & MOH Holdings, building authorities as required.
  4. Support the secretariat team for the redevelopment planning activities in a timely and well-coordinated manner, including formulation and approval of plans, setting and appraisal of targets.
  5. Suggest a system for knowledge management to document all of the redevelopment’s related discussions and ensure that the system remains updated and accessible to the relevant stakeholders.
  6. Work on horizon scanning of global, regional and national trends and events, in relation to redevelopment work, infrastructure and space planning, project management and adjust the plans accordingly. Corresponding budgets and resource requirements are to be worked out.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)

  1. Any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer/HOD.

Job Specification:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or biomedical related.
  • At least 3 to 4 years’ working experience. Those with experience working in the healthcare industry and/or project management will have an advantage.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, quantitative and communication skills (written and verbal).

Adaptable, able to multi-task and work well independently or in a team.
