Job summary

A community hospital in Singapore is seeking a Financial Counsellor to perform financial counselling for patients and manage pertinent administrative duties. The ideal candidate should hold at least a GCE 'O' Level, Nitec, or Diploma and have a minimum of 3 years in customer service. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in MS Excel and Words.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of customer service-related experience.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel & Words.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial counselling for in-flight patients.
  • Create and update patient relevant information into the system.
  • Ensure all documentation and admission deposit submission upon patient admission.
  • Update system and issue receipts upon payment received.
  • Monitor deposit and other charges diligently.
  • Follow up on medical reports upon request.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits.
  • Other ad hoc duties, as assigned.

You will be working closely with FC team, to perform day to day operations of Business Office. You will also attend promptly and efficiently to the daily queries/feedback.

  • Perform deposit and other charges monitoring duties diligently.
  • To follow up and process on medical report upon request.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Other ad hoc duties, as assigned.
Requirements
  • Preferably GCE 'O' Level Holder, Nitec or Diploma.
  • At least 3 years customer service-related experience.
  • Meticulous and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills to relate to people.
  • Basic Accounting knowledge and good proficiency in MS Excel & Words.
