Job summary

A leading financial services company located in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to prepare monthly financial statements and manage accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience. This role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards and working closely with various stakeholders. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and ERP systems are essential. Willingness to travel to Johor Bahru, Malaysia is required.

Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements, management accounts and analysis of financial performance, financial planning and analysis, forecasts and budgets, treasury functions and GST/tax returns
  • The functions of which require the close liaison with counter parties both internally and externally includes the management/corporate office, bankers, auditors, company secretary, tax advisors, other statutory bodies, etc. beside the supervision of department staff
  • To ensures that systems and procedures are in compliance with accounting standards, company policies and operating procedures, such other relevant and generally accepted/applicable regulations
  • Responsible for managing accounts receivable and credit control functions, including credit reviews, reporting, compliance, and coordination with sales, legal, insurers, and regulatory bodies
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office and hands-on experience with ERP environment
  • Required language(s): Good interpersonal and communication skills in and able to interact with people at all levels and works independently
  • At least 3 – 5 years of working experience. Exposure to external audit work added an advantage and with experience in supervising/directing work of staff
  • Willing to take up job challenge and ambitious for careers development
  • Applicant must be willing to travel to Johor Bahru, Malaysia for 3 working days per week
