Site Overview

GE Aerospace is a world-leading provider of jet engines, components, and integrated systems for commercial and military aircraft. GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) is the largest site for engine component MRO, responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview

Provide front‑line technical support for customer‑facing applications, particularly QAD ERP and related components. Lead ERP application integration, interface, reporting, and system availability. Maintain interfacing modules between corporate and HQ systems, especially QAD. Drive sustainable solutions and simplify the QAD ERP environment in conformance with architecture, standards and practices. Analyze user requirements and adopt System Life Cycle Development methodology for implementing changes.

Lead shared teams in design and development deliverables, ensuring zero‑defect QAD releases. Coordinate documentation reviews, code reviews, QA performance testing and release scheduling. Manage application and database upgrade projects across shared and core IM teams. Promote enabling technologies and act as a change‑agent for business productivity. Communicate operational status to users and leadership. Resolve escalated items, field and troubleshoot issues, configure system settings and manage user access.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements and optimizations to improve customer experience and manufacturing quality. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, SOPs, end‑user support and training materials. Conduct training sessions for end‑users and new employees for customer‑facing applications. Monitor system performance, generate reports, and provide insights to management on usage and improvement opportunities. Maintain up‑to‑date program manual and conduct audit to ensure alignment of actual practice and documented procedures. Participate in MES & ERP transformational projects and integrations with other digital transformation systems while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards related to MES usage and data security.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3‑7 years of experience implementing or supporting ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment; QAD/MFG Pro is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating system and good understanding of database support.
  • Good knowledge of network and infrastructure.
  • Experience with database management and SQL.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non‑technical team members.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
