Job summary

IT is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support enterprise network and security infrastructure, ensuring high availability, operational stability and security.

You will administer HPE Aruba networking and ToR switches, manage VLANs and firewall policies with Check Point, perform proactive monitoring and incident management, and leverage Ansible automation to improve reliability. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related discipline.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in enterprise network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba networking, HPE ToR switches and Check Point firewalls.
• Strong understanding of VLANs, trunking, routing, firewall policies and ACL management.
• Experience in network troubleshooting, incident management, change management and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of CIS hardening and experience with Ansible automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage operational activities independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure and maintain HPE Aruba networking and HPETop-of-Rack (ToR) switches.
• Manage VLANs, trunking, switching and network connectivity.
• Perform proactive network monitoring, health checks, maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.
• Troubleshoot network and storage connectivity issues to ensure operational stability.
