Job summary

Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is seeking dedicated nurses to provide nursing care and patient education for an assigned group of patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, ensuring high-quality care across multiple clinical areas.

The role requires a Higher NITEC in Nursing recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board, enrollment with the SNB, and a willingness to rotate shifts including weekends and public holidays; prior acute care experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and patient education for an assigned group of patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
• Ensure delivery of quality nursing care in a multifaceted environment.
• Rotates across areas such as Emergency, Inpatient Ward, Radiology, Operating Theatre, Short Stay Ward, and Same Day Admission.
• Adhere to hospital policies and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Job description

Eastern General Hospital (EGH) is a 1,000-bed hospital in Bedok North that will provide a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient clinical specialties and healthcare services, covering emergency, acute and secondary care. As a digitally enabled and patient-centred hospital, it will leverage innovative technologies to provide excellent care, and journey closely with patients and the community towards healthier, more fulfilling lives.

You will provide nursing care and patient education for an assigned group of patients under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure patients receive quality nursing care in a multifaceted environment. The incumbent will be nested at either Singapore General Hospital, Changi General Hospital, Sengkang General Hospital and other SingHealth Institutions as the primary worksite.

Job Requirements:

• Higher NITEC in Nursing/NITEC in Nursing recognised by Singapore Nursing Board

• A team player with positive and caring attitude
