Job summary

MORGAN MCKINLEY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Engineering Leader to define and drive the technical strategy across customer-facing applications and core platforms.

You will guide architecture decisions and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud applications on AWS, while mentoring senior engineers and setting engineering standards. You will partner with executives, Product, Finance and regional stakeholders to align technology priorities with business objectives,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years in an engineering leadership role.
• Proven experience managing and scaling multiple engineering teams.
• Hands-on background with Java, React/Next.js, microservices, PostgreSQL/SQL, AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, observability, automated testing and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience managing technology vendors and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy, roadmap and architecture across a portfolio of applications and platform services.
• Ensure scalable, secure, highly available apps on AWS and optimise performance.
• Champion engineering best practices across the SDLC, CI/CD and testing.
• Lead, mentor and develop multiple engineering teams and senior leaders.
• Oversee delivery of initiatives with high quality and predictable execution.
