Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior/Supply Chain (Equipment & Hardware Support) to ensure equipment availability and readiness for production across our subcontract manufacturing network. You will work with internal ST teams, manufacturing partners, equipment suppliers and subcontractors to support production continuity, equipment reliability and lifecycle management.

The role requires 3–6 years in semiconductors, hands-on experience with testing equipment and hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in automation or electronic qualification, or relevant discipline.
• 3–6 years in semiconductor industry with equipment maintenance or testing engineering.
• Experience with testing equipment (ATE/prober/handler/burn-in oven) and hardware tooling maintenance.
• Familiar with semiconductor manufacturing process flow, especially final test and finishing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; proactive team player.
• Willing to travel to subcontractor sites with short notice.

• Manage capex requests and coordinate hardware purchases, ensuring delivery/installation/qualification/buy-off schedules.
• Oversee equipment inventory, asset reconciliation, and disposition at GOBM Organization.
• Support NPI to MP equipment qualification across all subcontractors (OSAT).
• Assist in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and spares replenishment; resolve consignments.

Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated Senior/Supply Chain (Equipment & Hardware Support) to ensure equipment and hardware availability and readiness for production across our subcontract manufacturing network.

In this role, you will work closely with internal ST teams, manufacturing partners, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors to support production continuity, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. You will play an important part in keeping operations running smoothly, resolving technical issues quickly, and supporting equipment lifecycle management from installation to disposition.

YOUR ROLE

• Ensure equipment & hardware availability to meet production demand requirement.
• Work closely with internal product division and subcon manufacturing team to provide eqpt/hardware support for timely production needs at subcon plants (in case of equipment failures, repairs, coordination of internal and external resource for equipment breakdown repair and recovery).
• Timely request for capex, trigger PR/PO request for hardware purchase and driving vendor to meet delivery/installation/qualification/buy-off schedule as part of the requirement.
• Manage equipment inventory and transfer movement management to sustain supply chain environment, Fixed equipment asset reconciliation, and decommission & disposition management at GOBM Organization
• Contribute to eqpt/hardware support for New Product Introduction (NPI) qualification to Mass Production (MP) across all subcon (OSAT).
• Provide support on equipment maintenance/troubleshooting/skill training/spare replenishment/etc. activities and resolve consignment equipment and tooling (including EWS probe card & FT load board and Burn-in board) related issues at subcon (OSAT) production.
• Support manager on equipment management policy implement and continuity improvement action execution.
• Participates new equipment benchmark selection and budgeting, delivery & installation, qualification acceptance buy-off, upgrading/evolution follow up.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor degree in automation or electronic qualification, or relevant discipline.
• 3 to 6 years' experience in semiconductor industry with equipment maintenance or testing engineering in a manufacturing facility, preferably in Electrical Wafer Sorting (EWS), Final Testing and Burn in testing of back-endoperations.
• Experience in testing equipment (ATE/prober/handler/burn-in oven etc.) and hardware tooling (probe card, load board, change kit, burn-in board, etc.) maintenance and troubleshooting, testing methodologies and test programs, systems integration.
• Familiar with semiconductor manufacturing process flow, especially in final test & finishing process.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
• A responsible, and proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Able to travel to subcontractor sites, including on short notice when required.
