Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to drive threat hunting, detection engineering, and cyber defense across enterprise environments. You will develop advanced use cases, analytics, and threat correlation while managing vulnerability programs and external attack surface management.

The role emphasizes automation, incident response leadership, and collaboration with infrastructure, application, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, IT or related field.
• Experience in Security Operations, Threat Hunting or Cyber Threat Management.
• Strong expertise with Microsoft security technologies (Sentinel, Defender XDR, Microsoft 365).
• Hands-on scripting with PowerShell, Python, and KQL; automation skills.
• Knowledge of cloud security, threat intel, incident response and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, GIAC or OSCP are valued.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Lead threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, and advanced incident investigation initiatives across enterprise environments.
• Develop and enhance security detection use cases, analytics, and threat correlation across multiple telemetry sources.
• Manage end-to-end vulnerability management programs, from identification and prioritization through remediation and reporting.
• Oversee external attack surface management, securing internet-facing assets and reducing organizational exposure.
• Drive automation initiatives leveraging SIEM, EDR, SOAR, scripting, and AI technologies to improve security operations efficiency.
• Coordinate incident response and recovery efforts while partnering with infrastructure, application, and business teams.
• Establish and maintain operational procedures, security metrics, and continuous improvement frameworks for cyber defense programs.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience within Security Operations, Threat Hunting, or Cyber Threat Management.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and the Microsoft 365 security ecosystem.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, MDR, SOAR, vulnerability management, and external attack surface management platforms.
• Hands-on scripting and automation skills with technologies such as PowerShell, Python, and KQL.
• Deep understanding of cloud security, identity security, threat intelligence, incident response, and MITRE ATT&CK methodologies.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, SC-200, AZ-500, GIAC, or OSCP are highly regarded.
