Job summary

Seagate Technology in Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer, Product Security to manage 24x7 duties for global applications and to evaluate new AI tools and technologies. You will create and maintain security documents, improve infrastructure performance, and design monitoring and automation solutions.

You should have a strong Linux background, CIS security knowledge, and experience with PKI, cryptography, and HSM operations. Collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4-7 years of Linux system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of CIS security standards and system hardening.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring, observability, and performance management.
• Familiarity with AI-powered operations, automation, and productivity tools.
• Knowledge in Public Key Infrastructure.
• Experience in Red Hat, Network & Security certifications are a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Experience in HSM operations.

About our group:

Product Security Infrastructure & Services (PSIS) is a global team responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring Seagate product Security infrastructure globally. Services provided includes Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) management, digital signing, code encryption, digital signing of device certificates, digital unlocking of ports, authentication services etc.

About the role - you will:

• Standby 24*7 duty manager role (rotational) to support global Application and Systems Management.

• Involve in the evaluation of new & emerging products , AI tools, technologies and make recommendations

• Create and maintain the system and security related documents

• Helpto improve andtune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure

• Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools

• D evelop and maintain configuration management solutions

• Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with rest of the team

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Create AI tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure

About you:
