A leading transportation company in Singapore seeks an experienced professional to lead the PFR section and manage electrical safety for MRT operations. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in low and high voltage operations. Key responsibilities include staff training, compliance with safety regulations, and managing external partnerships.
Lead the PFR section, manage track traction and station electrical safety to ensure that the safety, reliability and availability of such services meet regulatory requirements for the MRT system to operate.
Department Trainer and Learning Coordinator
Ensure PFRs supports OCC operational requirements and targets.
Establish, manage and upkeep work instructions, operation process and procedures for PFRs.
Establish and conduct department staff training roadmap and in-house course
Upkeep department staff training competency and records.
Liaise with external agencies on all matters pertaining to power supply operations and regulation.
Ensure safe power arrangement for main line and depot track access and works activities.
Manage the department electrical permit office and application matters.
Carry out electrical safety and work quality audit and training.
Develop and conduct Power and Electrical equipment training.
Undertake tasks and projects as assigned by the superior.
Safety of people – protect the passengers, public and personnel (staff and contractors) against injury and nuisance.
Safety of the service – protect against disruption and delay,
To enforce Departmental Works Instruction System and all Rail related Safety Rules and Procedures
Responsible for maintaining the technical standards for the DTL Power equipment so as to ensure the highest level of operational safety for the DTL system.
Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Professional Engineer Board, Singapore / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Preferably at least 5 years of working experience in both Low and High Voltage operation and maintenance, preferably in a rail transportation environment.
Good planning and organization skill.
Good communication skill.
Good team player.
Resourceful, self motivated and result oriented.
