Job summary

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore is seeking an experienced facilities engineer for a 3-year contract at Changi Airport Terminal 2. You will maintain and upgrade critical mechanical and electrical systems, and support commissioning, handover and lifecycle projects.

Based at CAAS, you will coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure compliance with standards and safe operation. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, including ACMV, fire protection, electrical distribution and essential power, to ensure the safe and reliable operation of facilities, including contributing to the development and review of maintenance requirements.
• Be involved in the development and taking over of new or upgraded facilities and systems, including supporting commissioning and handover activities and contributing to the review of design requirements to ensure readiness for operational needs.
• Assist in the planning, coordination and implementation of improvement, upgrading and lifecycle replacement projects for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ensure that maintenance activities and project works comply with applicable statutory requirements, codes of practice and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, service providers and internal stakeholders on operational, maintenance and project-related matters, and support inspections, reviews and reporting as required.

Mon to Thu: 8.30am to 6pm, Fri: 8.30am to 5.30pm
