Responsibilities

• Execute project management duties and ensure all key milestones are met within the schedule.
• Generate the master project schedule and monitor project execution milestones.
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to carry out project implementation works.
• Monitor respective functions’ responsibilities and ensure project milestones are on track.
• Coordinate and lead the Factory Acceptance Test with customers and distributors.
• Ensure all documentation is agreed and endorsed for delivery.
• Schedule and coordinate on-site testing and ensure smooth transition to the aftermarket team.
• Provide first-level technical support during project execution.
• Work with engineering team on project feasibility studies and assist Industrial Solution team in generating project cost estimations for project management activities.
• Submit monthly reports on project status highlighting key issues or concerns related to project delivery and milestones.
• Provide engineering support on 3rd party products and drawings for submittals purposes.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with interplant associates on deliveries, factory tests, and project documentation.
• Work closely with schedulers, customer service, and production teams to update project status in weekly meetings.
• Attend weekly site meetings with main contractors and consultants if required.
• Manage site installation works and ensure completion within stipulated timelines.
• Coordinate and work with sub-contractors on site installations, drawings, and material submittals.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project management for an equipment manufacturer.
• Good interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication.
• Experience in generators, transformers, switchgears, and UPS.
• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings.
• Familiarity with generators, controls, and associated equipment & accessories.
• Knowledge of generator standards and codes.
