Job summary

Micron Technology Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer in Product Engineering, NAND Validation, to lead functional and design validation for advanced NAND devices. You will work with silicon and simulation platforms, automate tests, and apply AI/ML to improve test efficiency and coverage.

Responsibilities include developing deterministic tests, performing electrical failure analysis, and driving cross‑functional issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• At least 5-7 years of relevant professional experience and ability to lead projects/tasks
• Relevant NAND validation projects in semiconductors or related field
• Strong NAND knowledge and validation skills
• Ability to lead Silicon Debug & Electrical Failure Analysis
• Applied AI/ML for test analytics and defect pattern analysis
• Good problem solving and communication skills

• Design and execute functional and design validation for advanced RG NAND devices using silicon and simulation platforms
• Develop deterministic usage‑case tests and random sequence generators for NAND commands and features
• Perform electrical failure analysis and root-cause investigations with cross‑functional teams
• Implement automation frameworks using C-based programming, Python, and Perl to improve test development
• Apply AI/ML techniques to accelerate failure triage, identify coverage gaps, and improve debug productivity
• Use data dashboards to track validation progress, defect trends, and release readiness
• Conduct simulation studies with Verilog and Synopsys VCS to support debug and verification
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work while adhering to standards and compliance
• Share AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work and promote continuous improvement

We are looking for an Senior Engineer in Product Engineering, NAND Validation, specializing in functional and design validation of advanced NAND products. Experienced in silicon and simulation‑based validation, electrical failure analysis, and cross‑functional issue closure. Strong focus on automation, data‑driven validation, and applied AI/ML techniques to improve test efficiency, coverage, and debug productivity.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements

• Designed and executed functional and design validation flows for advanced RG NAND devices using silicon and simulation platforms
• Developed deterministic usage‑case tests and random sequence generators to validate NAND commands and customer‑mode features
• Performed electrical failure analysis of issues seen, root‑cause investigations (including digital and analog circuitry), and drove issue resolution with cross‑functional teams
• Implemented automation frameworks using C‑based programming, Python, and Perl to improve test development and execution efficiency
• Applied AI/ML‑assisted techniques (data analytics, pattern recognition, anomaly detection) to:
  • Accelerate failure triage and root‑cause analysis
  • Identify validation coverage gaps
  • Improve random sequence effectiveness and debug prioritization
• Utilized data‑driven methods and dashboards to track validation progress, defect trends, and release readiness
• Conducted simulation studies using Verilog and Synopsys VCS to support debug and design verification
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• At least 5-7 years of relevant professional working experience in a similar or related engineering role and able to plan and led projects/taskforce as required.
• Relevant Projects/Internships in validation for NAND in Semicon or similar industries
• Good NAND knowledge and validation skills.
• Able to lead Silicon Debug & Electrical Failure Analysis
• Applied AI/ML for test analytics and defect pattern analysis
• Good problem solving and communication skill
