Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Engineer with maintenance, repairs, and installation.
• Undertake 24x7 operational health and maintenance tasks at the Data Centre.
• Supervise contractors ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of customer's premises.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Propose improvements or replacements of aged equipment.
• Maintain good relations with customers providing technical support.
• Promote team cohesiveness within the workplace.
• Update maintenance schedules for customers and vendors.
• Ensure timely vendor attendance for maintenance tasks.
• Assist in vetting vendor permits and approvals.
• Prepare monthly duty roster for shift technicians.

Job Objectives

1. To provide assistance to Engineer in the area maintenance, repairs and installation and to assist
2. Document for the Engineer and for the client.

Duties/ Functions/ Responsibilities

• Undertake 24x7 operational health/ maintenance/ troubleshooting/ installation/ repairs according to Data Centre ‘best practice’
• Supervision and escort of term contractors to ensure that installation/ maintenance repairs adhere to their due diligence
• Ensure that customer’s premises is tidy up and all equipments are operational before leaving the client’s premises
• Follows and adhere to customer’s facilities’ rules and regulations
• Observe operational health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements
• Propose and recommend customer’s Data Centre improvement/ replacement of aged equipments
• Maintain good relations with customers by providing technical/ facilities support
• Involve in promoting team cohesiveness
• Preparing & updating of Maintenance schedule to the customer and vendors
• Promote and maintain company professional image in Data Centre maintenance & management.
• Ensure the term vendor is on time for Maintenance.
• To assist in vetting Vendor PTW, MOS & RA and submit to safety department and client for approval.
• Prepare Monthly duty rooster for in house shift technician.
