Job summary

ST Engineering Marine Ltd. seeks an Electrical & Electronics engineer to supervise maintenance of shipboard power systems in Changi. You will lead a small team of electricians, ensure safety, and coordinate with clients on maintenance programs.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, experience in power engineering, circuit diagrams, and HV/LV testing. Outdoor work in a challenging environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in power engineering and maintenance of electrical components.
• Knowledge in reading electrical circuit diagrams.
• Experience in testing/calibration of HV/LV equipment or fault analysis.
• Knowledge in electrical and electronic systems.
• DC system experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a small team on jobs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and maintenance of power systems on vessels.
• Lead a team of electricians to complete CM/PM tasks safely and on time.
• Ensure safety and welfare of team members while working.
• Coordinate with client and subcontractors on maintenance programs.
• Partner with SRM to meet project milestones.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform fault diagnosis, trouble shooting and maintenance of power system/component in workshops and on-board vessels
• Lead a team of electricians to complete CM and PM tasks in safe and timely manner
• Ensure the safety and welfare of the team members being assigned
• Liaise with client and subcontractors pertaining to maintenance programs
• Partner with SRM to ensure delivery of project milestones

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Experience in power engineering and maintenance of electrical components
• Knowledge in reading electrical circuit diagram.
• Experience in testing/calibration of high/low voltage equipment or fault analysisKnowledge in both electrical/electronic system
• Experience in DC system preferred
• Able to lead and manage a small team to complete jobs assigned
• Able to motivate and create a positive working environment and culture in the department
• Willing to work in Changi area
• Able to work in outdoor environment-heat, grease, dust
