Job description

Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd (SLNG) built, owns and operates Singapore's and Asia's first open-access, multi-user liquefied natural gas terminal.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and supervise maintenance tasks and reliability improvements of electrical equipment and systems within the Gas Engine Generator (GEG) area.
  • Implement reliability programs and develop maintenance procedures for electrical equipment to facilitate consistent execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and carry out minor CAPEX electrical projects following company guidelines.
  • Investigate electrical equipment failures or malfunctions in order to identify root causes of problem as well as recommend and implement solutions.
  • Liaise with external stakeholder including government agencies on electrical matters.
  • Support Major expansion projects from the electrical and operations perspective.
  • Work closely with Licensed Electrical Worker to provide integrity assurance for the electrical systems.
  • The incumbent shall also participate in emergency response and may be assigned to a specific role and responsibility for such purpose.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 5 years practical experience in an electrical maintenance / design role in an oil and petrochemical facilities or power generation environment.
  • Relevant technical experience in high voltage electrical power systems.
  • Highly analytical and meticulous.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
