A leading semiconductor company in Singapore seeks an experienced Facilities Engineer to manage DI and wastewater treatment systems. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, collaborating on engineering solutions, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Candidates should have a Degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD is preferred.
Take ownership of Facilities DI, WWTP, WWTP reclaim plant operation, maintenance and process.
Collaborate with Facilities Operations by providing engineering solutions to enhance DI & WWTP systems’ reliability and robustness.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, waste water reclaim plant, multiple DI water systems, RO systems ensuring compliance with all environmental regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
Support facilities operations in troubleshooting of DI, WWTP & reclaim systems related problems and closure of incident reports.
Manage Plant water usage and improvement, productivity and develop value engineering programs.
Plan, design, tender out and manage expansion/upgrading projects with “zero” incidents and accurate budget control.
Monitor routine and ad hoc service contractors’ performance to ensure safe & timely delivery of services as per service level agreement.
Formulate annual budgets for service contracts, improvement projects, spares, consumables and utilities.
Liaison between Plant and Government Agencies such as PUB and NEA on yearly reporting on Water usage and recycling opportunities.
Develop and improved DI, WWTP & reclaim systems operating procedures, work instructions, FMEA and develop new ones, if required.
Develop and update PM scope of work, work instructions and checklists for service contracts’ RFQ.
Manage the documentation of service reports, asset database, spare parts, O&M manuals, drawings, etc.
Participate in quality, insurance/risk, environmental and safety audits, work groups and trainings.
Develop and conduct trainings to facilities operations team on new installations or procedures
