Responsibilities
  • Work with the Qualified Person (QP) to develop structural scheme for structures and buildings.
  • Carry out engineering analysis to assess the stability and load to be sustained by the structures.
  • Carry out engineering design in accordance with Eurocodes or relevant international design codes.
  • Prepare submission to authorities for approval of design.
  • Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading role and embrace a culture that values teamwork.
  • Attend project meetings with Client, Project Manager and Consultants from other disciplines.
  • Attend site progress meetings and reply to technical queries.
  • Lead junior engineer in delivering design and seek clearance for all relevant parties and authorities.
  • Conduct supervision & contract administration when required.
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with design of multi-storey/high-rise building from a local engineering consulting environment is preferred.
  • Those registered as Professional Engineer with PEB and/or have more relevant working experience will be considered for senior role.
  • Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
  • Competent user of relevant engineering software.
  • Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English.
  • Able to interact and work with colleagues and members of other consultants at various levels.
