Job description

Role

Your primary role is to create engineering solutions and/or support manufacturing to meet customers’ requirements from design, additive /advanced manufacturing process / post processing selection, to vendor engagement and design realization through manufacturing. Your job scope includes understanding of the aviation system requirements and finding compliance, in supporting projects.

Key Responsibilities

Overall

• Execute tasks in compliance with in-house procedures and complete engineering work to meet project schedule and budget.

Design & engineering

• Form technical scope of work for customer’s acceptance and engage supplier/s to support the proposal to customers.

• Complete design with engineering drawings, with optimization and load/stress analysis where required.

• Support manufacturing engineering.

• Follow through the requirements in engineering drawings to achieve the manufacturability.

Certification & documentation

• Support formation of certification requirements with means of compliance.

• Find compliance with substantiation documents such as test plan/report, etc.

• Create /maintain up-to-date master lists of drawings and digital files per procedures.

Key Requirements

A self‑motivated individual who demonstrates ownership of assigned responsibilities; a team player who communicates timely & efficiently with peers and management.

Possession of an engineering degree in engineering/ mechanical design is essential. Other experience includes Design for AM or aviation engineering. Procession of both experiences is an added advantage.
