Roles and Responsibilities

Own electrode/catalyst development, cell design, and electrolyzer performance optimisation. Bridge lab breakthroughs to manufacturable solutions and collaborate on process and controls strategies for reliable commercial operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead R&D on electrodes & catalysts: selection, synthesis, performance & durability testing.
  • Optimise operating parameters (current density, temperature, pressure) for efficiency & lifespan.
  • Design/optimise electrochemical cells; execute EIS/polarisation/aging tests; analyse degradation.
  • Collaborate on plant‑level design inputs: PFD/P&ID, instrumentation & controls, utilities.
  • Develop equipment/instrument lists and technical specifications; recommend suppliers.
  • Contribute to techno‑economic assessments (TEA) and design‑to‑cost trade‑offs.
  • Document methods, results, and acceptance criteria; contribute to IP disclosures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 6–10+ years’ hands‑on electrochemical R&D (cells, electrodes, catalyst testing & analysis).
  • Experience translating lab results into pilot/manufacturing requirements.
