Job summary

EGP SMART ENERGY PTE. LTD is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to coordinate design reviews, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical infrastructure projects.

You will review drawings and specs to ensure project compliance and work closely with clients, consultants and suppliers. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in electrical projects.
• Hands-on experience in project coordination, supervision, installation, testing or commissioning.
• Experience with LV, MV or HV systems and equipment.
• Experience in Transmission & Distribution, substations, switchgear or power infrastructure.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams and specs.
• Willing to discuss technical matters in Mandarin with partners.
• Willingness to travel to project sites; senior roles may be considered for extensive experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee electrical project activities from design review to testing and commissioning.
• Review drawings, specifications and submissions for compliance with requirements.
• Supervise site works including switchgear, transformers, cables and protection systems.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to resolve queries and site issues.
• Work with Project Manager to monitor schedules, resources and material approvals.
• Prepare and review method statements, inspection checklists and test reports.
• Identify risks, site constraints and delays and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements and QA/QC.
